The 2lb tension spring for Sanwa JLF replaces the existing spring found in the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, or Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, adding 1.1lb more force than the original. This results in a stiffer joystick, which is favored amongst some players who don't like the loose feel of the JLF. Using this spring, you no longer have to combine the original with a LS-32 to achieve the same level of tension.

  1. Does its job well.

Simply put, if you feel your JLF is a little too loose, or youre afraid of accidental inputs due to the stick returning to neutral too hard, get this. Easy to install and it feels so much better. Tia on Jul 3rd 2017

  2. 2lbs of tension is the perfect feel

this spring was exactly what i was looking for to get right feel with my joystick. i honestly think it helps with my combos in the games that i play. and for the price, you just cant beat it. and the only difficult part about installing it was taking the e-clip off the bottom of the joystick Unknown on Jun 2nd 2017

  3. Really helped me get my movements down. The stiffness helped me feel things moving. Considering the 4lb now...

  4. Does the job

Works great for 3d fighters. Definitely does what you'd expect. I bought it to offset the aluminum bat top but ended up going back to my old spring and plastic bat top. It's just a lot on your wrist and fast (double) dashing is hard to pull off. But reeeeally good return to neutral, works great on TEKKEN and DOA. I think when I get my new stick (T7 Hori RAP) I'm gonna put it in there and use it for TEKKEN and my old RAP4 with stock spring for SF/KOF/SkullGirls/etc Corey Gravitt on Apr 10th 2017

  5. A good balance

The tension is quite good for 3D fighters such as Tekken and not to much on the stiff side for 2D fighters. Jason Scott on Mar 25th 2017

  6. Great resistance for a "loose" stick

Installation took 5-10 minutes (my first time ever taking apart a Sanwa JLF). Only issue I ran into was that I didn't realize some other components of the stick would come apart once I removed the clip on the shaft. More of a rookie mistake on my part. Overall, I like the feel of the resistance of the stick after adding this 2lb spring. I have a stick with the stock spring, and one with the 2lb spring, and the difference is very noticeable. With the stock spring, I had issues where the stick rebound would sometimes register an input for the opposite direction (e.g. flick the stick to the right registers a right then left input). Haven't had the same issue happen when using the 2lb spring. I've been using the stick for 2 weeks now, and really enjoy it over the stock stick feel. Unknown on Feb 20th 2017

  7. Nice upgrade to standard Sanwa JLF

Adds a nice amount of tension compared to the Sanwa JLF or Hori Hayabusa. Unknown on Feb 17th 2017

  8. Great product

I prefer the additional tension provided by this spring and I'm happy with the product. Brandt on Feb 13th 2017

  9. Nice mod...

I really like the extra resistance this spring provides, it makes all my moves fell more positive. Brian on Feb 10th 2017
