The 2lb tension spring for Sanwa JLF replaces the existing spring found in the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, or Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, adding 1.1lb more force than the original. This results in a stiffer joystick, which is favored amongst some players who don't like the loose feel of the JLF. Using this spring, you no longer have to combine the original with a LS-32 to achieve the same level of tension.

Fits the Hori Hayabusa Silent!

1.1lb Difference
After purchasing my RAP4 Kai and using a few weeks, the joystick felt kinda "soft". Installing the 2lb spring, along with the Kowal Oversized Actuator, made my stick feel more similar to an actual arcade quality (what I'm used to). Certainly worth it. GeoGeo on Feb 25th 2016

Much better feel than the original JLF
The stiffness of an arcade controller is obviously a subjective case, but I really like my JLF to be a bit stiffer than the original feel. This spring did exactly this. It offered me the feeling I was looking for, so that's why I recommend it. Ideal for shooters! Unknown on Jan 30th 2016

Stiffin up your stick
I installed this with the Kowal 1mm Oversize Actuator for Sanwa JLF in my Madcatz SFxT Pro. The result is much firmer response and return to neutral. This has helped my dash motions quite ab it and to me it just feels better. It may not be for everyone, but if you think you might prefer a stiffer stick; give this a shot, it's cheap enough where if you dont like it, it wont break the piggy. ToneLoki on Dec 7th 2015

Once you go 2lb tension you never go back
I've always thought the stock JLF spring was way too loose. I've tried a myriad of ways to fix the issue (stretch the spring, combine it with a seimitsu spring, etc) and I've never found a great solution until this bad boy was referred to me. So much tighter.
