The 2lb tension spring for Sanwa JLF replaces the existing spring found in the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, or Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, adding 1.1lb more force than the original. This results in a stiffer joystick, which is favored amongst some players who don't like the loose feel of the JLF. Using this spring, you no longer have to combine the original with a LS-32 to achieve the same level of tension.

Highly recommended
This, in conjunction with a slightly larger actuator, creates a world of difference in terms of responsiveness. It creates a tight and precise feel that is ideal for most fighting games. Inputs will require more deliberate actions however, and I would recommend this product to individuals who are either A) looking for a tighter overall feel or B) having execution problems related to inputs which require the stick to remain in a neutral state for a brief moments of time (i.e. Ryu's dragon punch FADC ultra; As the stick will return to a neutral state quicker and with less "wobble"). Awesome response.
After years of playing with a stick spring or a stretched out spring I finally bought this. It's made a small improvement to my playing but overall it's made me focus a lot more to my position. I highly recommend it. Efraim on Oct 13th 2015

Your JLF needs this!
After installing the 2lb. spring, I immediately noticed how much of a difference this little mod makes. Comparing it to another JLF of mine without the spring is night and day. It makes the stick feel the way that it should always have been. Unknown on Oct 9th 2015

Faster Inputs!
Using this spring in both the "MadCatz TE2 FightStick " & "Razer Atrox" both for Xbox One... and it is a night and day difference in tension and response on both fightsticks. I highly recommend it and won't use any other fightstick without it... it is a must! xNine2Ninex on Aug 12th 2015

A must have modification!
I am an old school arcade gamer. So I'm used to a slightly stiffer arcade stick. Very easy to mod yourself. Just do a quick search on YouTube. It make a big difference when you are busting out some Dragon Uppercuts or Ultras on SFIV.
