The 2lb tension spring for Sanwa JLF replaces the existing spring found in the Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT Joystick, or Sanwa JLF-TPRG-8AYT-SK Silent Microswitch Joystick, adding 1.1lb more force than the original. This results in a stiffer joystick, which is favored amongst some players who don't like the loose feel of the JLF. Using this spring, you no longer have to combine the original with a LS-32 to achieve the same level of tension.

Sturdy and tight.
Definitely can feel the resistance with this one. It's just about right if you have strong hands/wrists. Not recommend for people with a light touch. Make sure you watch a tutorial on removing the old spring. Unknown on Apr 27th 2020

American Styled weight for the JLF!

Just what my arcade needed!
This spring made a good noticeable impact on the operation of my arcade controller. It is slightly stiffer, but not so much that it tires the players hand. I thought about the 4lb spring but opted to err on the cautious side and I'm glad that I did. I imagine 4lbs would feel 2x as heavy and that would be just too much for fighting games and the like. great upgrade for hyabusa stick
i ordered a hori rap 4 pro for my first arcade stick ran it in stock form for a month and didnt like the very loose feel of the stick . after swapping the spring out for a 2lb spring and a brief trip to the training room i got allot more crisp inputs and when i released the stick from an input direction it didnt rebound everywhere it went straight back to neutral position. highly recommended Andre G. on Dec 9th 2019

I've been using this spring for a couple weeks now and can easily say it was a great decision to get this spring. The quick return to neutral helps a lot and without the stiff feeling of a 4lb spring. I paired this with a battop and would never go back to stock. Highly recommend that everyone get this.
