A must for arcade1up cabinets
I have been modding arcade1up Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat cabinets for about six months and although they look awesome and they are fantastic functionally, the joysticks, even after you take The Originals out and put in new ones just feel loose and sloppy. This is a very inexpensive 3 minute upgrade you can do that dramatically improves the joysticks. Josh on Oct 2nd 2019

Simple but effective
I bought these specifically for some JLF Sanwa joysticks I had installed in my Arcade1Up Street Fighter II cabinet. The stock joysticks were far from adequate and the stock 2lb springs in the Sanwa JLF joysticks just didn't have enough resistance for my taste and would spin. Installing the springs was easy enough and adds enough tension that they almost "spring" back to center and feel like more traditional "American" joysticks. All around I'm impressed and will easily pick these up for any future JLF joysticks that I purchase. Nick on Sep 10th 2019

The stock spring on japanese levers tend to loose tension pretty quick using this or teh 2lb spring will help with your execution Mark on Sep 4th 2019

Extreme tension
Installed on a hayabusa stick (Hori Rap V), is a great spring but 4lbs is too much for a normal fightstick (~2.2 Kg), maybe work fine in an arcade machine or more heavy size fightstick. Carlos on Aug 29th 2019

4lb joystick Springs from Focus Attack for Arcade1up Cabinets
I recently had an Arcade1up game room party with family and friends and found out afterward that people are a little hard on joysticks when they are drinking! They popped my joystick out of the restrictor plate on the Arcade1up Pac Man game. Enter the 4lb joystick springs from Focus Attack to the rescue. Installed these (very easily) and have not had a problem since. The joystick springs that ship from Arcade1up are way too lose (I'm guessing 1lb springs). I have read that some do not like the tension on the 4lb springs, but I think only very small children or people with carpal tunnel issues would have trouble with this amount of tension. The 4lb springs seem like solid arcade quality once you install them. If you want to protect your joystick from breaking, use the 4lb joystick springs and you will never look back! Bit to much for me
Obviously this is more of a personal preference thing but I found the 4lb to be a bit too tense for my liking, really giving my wrists a workout here trying to do basic movements. I've since replaced it with a 2lb spring and now it feels just right. To each their own I guess. Unknown on Aug 22nd 2019
