4lb Tension Spring for Sanwa JLF

Much Better!
Installed this spring in my Sanwa and I can definitely notice the difference in my gameplay. With the stock/factory spring I was getting out of back dashes, but this spring really did the trick and my defenses have improved. It's noticeably stiffer and takes a little getting used to, but not much. Enjoy! Unknown on Oct 2nd 2017

Not bad, Please read
4/5 While it does exactly what other reviews say. This spring is far to much for me. The recent swap to a Seimitsu LS32 did the job nicely for tension while the 2 lb spring in a friends soon to be Sanwa unit works amazingly (if a bit tight for me). If you really shoulder roll or are sick of your stick flicking opposing directions this will fix it. If your stick is mounted securely anyway. Seriously though. Its 1.25, if you're already making a purchase of adjustment springs it wont hurt you to throw this in and see if it does help you or you just prefer it. Great to see options this wild out there. Noticeable side effects: One arm more robust than the other, quick winded but endurance gained over time. ... wait... just lift weights. Unknown on Sep 28th 2017

Just what I needed
Most sticks feel too loose to me. It feels like a lot of my moves come out on accident. After changing the spring I feel like I have more control over my character and he is doing exactly what I want him to do. If you've felt the same way then I suggest you give this a shot. Roxo on Aug 27th 2017

Top Notch Tension!
The 4lb tension spring is perfect when used with the Kowal actuator! If you’re looking for a hella stiffer stick and tighter control... this is the way to go! aLaDinn Sane on Aug 16th 2017

For the ones who beat up a stick
Are you an old school American arcade player that has converted to Japanese style sticks? Do you miss the ability to put your entire arm into your fireball motion while feeling mega hype about a game without worrying about hurting your internal stick organs? Then this spring is for you. Since i installed this spring, I can beat the he'll out of my stick and it always stands right back up, with no play, ready for me to grip it and rip it all over again. Paired this with the KOWOL 1mm oversized actuator for angry sensitivity. May not be for everybody. Can tire your wrist. Jonathan JSPOT Spottswood on May 2nd 2017

To stiff for me
Hope to see more spring options in the future, this one was a bit to stiff for me with 2D games. Jason Scott on Apr 27th 2017

From Stock to This Was an Experience
Install was pretty straight forward on my Rap4Kai, but on first play i instantly regretted messing around and switching to this spring. lmao HEAVYYYY Out of stubbornness I've kept playing with it for a couple weeks and I have gotten used to it. Now my execution feels like it's gotten a whole lot tighter and I do less accidental movements like diagonal jumps. It's actually become a cool little gimmick that causes none of my friends bother to ask to borrow my fight stick, so that's a win. Ryan on Jan 28th 2017

Holy cow this is too much
I changed to the 2 lbs spring and liked it but thought I would appreciate a bit stiffer spring. Tried this 4 lbs and wow is it way way too much for me. It felt so stiff I'm really surprised there are so many reviewers here saying they play wth it. Lance Davis on Jan 4th 2017
