Thin plexi is flimsy, thick plexi cracks
I've had about 15 of these now for custom stick orders for my friends... unfortunately the thin ones are far too flimsy for me to recommend. I like that they offer two thicknesses, but if the thick panels have ANY imperfections, they can crack during button installation or after extended play. I would say this is only an issue with 15-20% of their thick panels, and the panels are reasonably priced enough to warrant the occasional crack. Despite the occasional cracks, I still prefer the thick panels over the thin panels. Thin panels are so flimsy they curl and are disappointing visually. They also tend to tear if you try to replace Sanwa snap ins, even with the buttercade button removing tool. tl;dr > get a thick panel and get an extra if you ordering multiple. Perfect fit but important consideration
From FA: It is recommended that you remove the original Fightstick artwork from the metal panel before applying new artwork and plexi. ---- First off, product came as advertised, looks good, no complaints. IMPORTANT NOTE: I ordered the thinner plexi (3/100") thinking that it would be all I need to mount the artwork, however the thinner plexi is very flimsy and feels terrible resting your hands atop it. You can easily push and bend it in and it would not be great by itself. So to get the best of the thinner plexi I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking the original metal backing plate, ripping off the original art, then putting your custom art atop that and sandwiching it with the thin plexi. Doing so with the bezel works well, and it is (almost) flush and feels solid. I do wonder if the thicker plexi would allow you to mount without the metal plate, but I do not know. I hope this helps anyone in the future. Brad on Dec 10th 2021

1.5mm black plexi
Quality cuts from the factory, and fit the bezel perfectly. Very cool to have the option to hide the turbo panel. It was also very easy to add my own cuts to the Plexi, adding extra button holes for a hitbox style stick mod. Note that the black Plexi is opaque, and will even block any LED lights from coming through. Drilling tiny holes for LED light pipes was easy and resulted in a more polished look overall. top quality and highly recommended.
So I ended up ordering both the 1/16 and the 1/40th. While sicker and raised slightly above I prefer the 1/16. It feels quality like it's going to last a very long time. Also I didn't get the Middle top and bottom screw cut out on mine nor the first two buttons. And it has remained perfectly flat. The 1/40 on the other hand was bending up in the top and bottom center. So while being a bendable thinner quality that is also nice, you really do want to have all 6 screw holes cut. My only complaint is that I had to take sandpaper along the edges to trim them down to match the actual metal top plate so it probably sits in the border panel. Ted on Sep 2nd 2019

Good black plexi after replacement
I ordered a black plexi awhile back and it was traced very poorly; the button holes didn't line up and the plexi didn't fill out the entirety of the bezel. However, Jaleel and Jason made it right and sent a replacement that does the job. Matt on Nov 17th 2018

Good quality
Fits my original TE perfectly. Nice and shiny. Just wanted a replacement panel that doesn't have a hole where the turbo button panel was, and this works great. Mike on Feb 19th 2018
